My Fair Lady at Sonning Mill
Overview
Set on the banks of the River Thames, the Mill at Sonning Theatre has been entertaining for over 40 years! It is the only dinner theatre in the United Kingdom, and has gained unrivalled praise both nationally and internationally.
We have attended quite a few productions here now, including drama, farce, musicals, tours with afternoon tea, and immersive performances in the waterwheel bar. This promises to be a spectacular event, the big musical has become the most important show of the season. Last year was White Christmas, the year before Singing in the Rain.
The bar and restaurant open at 6pm, the auditorium opens at 8pm, with the show starting at 8.15pm and finishing at 10.45pm.

My Fair Lady
The story of Eliza Doolittle - the cockney flower girl who speaks in 'yowls' and not 'vowels', plucked off the streets of London by the arrogant Professor Higgins declaring he can pass her off as a Duchess in six months - has rightfully captivated audiences for decades.
Add to this an unforgettable score including songs 'Wouldn't It Be Loverly?', 'On The Street Where You Live' and 'I Could Have Danced All Night' and MY FAIR LADY's phenomenal success worldwide is readily understood.
Following the award winning success of GYPSY, and the popularity of previous musicals HIGH SOCIETY and GUYS & DOLLS, we are delighted to welcome back director Joseph Pitcher to revive his highly successful production from 2017. MY FAIR LADY promises to be a glorious revival of a Mill favourite and a theatrical event not to be missed.
Location & Itinerary
Here at The Mill, tickets include a Two-Course Meal in our Restaurant before the show. We now deliver a full restaurant service, and because your meal at The Mill is paid for at booking the price of your food does not appear on your bill as it would in any other restaurant.
We therefore add a gratuity of £3.50 per person which is based around the retail value of £35pp for your meal and is added to your drinks bill. (Spice Social has included the tip in the ticket price)
That said, if the quality of our food or service has failed to meet your expectations, please inform your server who will remove it without question. We can also return to the table in the interval for coffee/ drinks. The Waterwheel Bar is also open before and after the show.
