Kingsbury Water Park Festive Christmas Markets Ramble
Overview
Join Rob Smith for this new 5½ mile ramble around this popular country park with the option of Sunday Lunch afterwards.
We leave the visitors centre and head via Broomy Croft and the canal pool towards the Birmingham and Fazeley canal. Heading up the canal we pass the Dog and Doublet Inn and Lea Marston hotel before using a local bridleway towards Lea Marston. We return to Water Park as we walk around several of the pools and then onto the visitors’ centre and the markets. The walk is pretty much flat and there’s no significant hills.
The markets will be open throughout the event and time will be given for you to visit these, Rob will book a table at a local pub for Sunday lunch after the event and there’s an excellent on-site café and toilets
After the ramble there will be the option to visit a local pub for a Sunday lunch.
Important note: The markets could be cancelled if the there are poor weather conditions but the ramble will still go ahead, albeit a slightly revised route.
Location & Itinerary
There is a café at the start and end of the ramble serving hot and cold snacks and drinks.
