February Bargain Break 2026
Overview
This has to be the best value break in the Spice calendar. Year after year the feedback is fantastic. This year we head to the Angus Hotel and Spa for a weekend of great company in great surroundings.
Surrounded by rolling hills and overlooked by mountains, Blairgowrie and its sister town Rattray, are great places to base your self if you are planning to visit Perthshire. The two towns, separated by the River Ericht were joined by an Act of Parliament in 1928. The village is famed for it raspberries - they say the best in world!
You are welcome to book extra nights but the weekend is hosted from Friday to Sunday.

Location & Itinerary
This excellent weekend is jam packed with activities to suit everyone. On Friday evening we will enjoy dinner followed by a live singer. Saturday evening sees us enjoy dinner followed by live tribute act.
Tribute confirmed - Dirty Dancing & Movie Mania Night
Party and dance the night away with all your favourite sing-along hits from these two classic & iconic, blockbuster movies: Grease & Dirty Dancing.
(Evening entertainment will be shared with other hotel guests)
Daytime offers include led walks suitable for most on Saturday and Sunday or you If you don’t fancy either walk there is the option of joining Mark Biagioni for a chance to explore the local area. All this and the superb new spa available to book over the weekend. There is also a swimming pool available for you to use during your stay.

Travel & Stay
This popular hotel sits in the heart of the Blairgowrie community and their friendly team will be on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Well known for the quality of the Tribute nights on offer it makes the perfect destination for our fun break. We have single, twin share and double share rooms.
Our hotel is just over an hour and a half from Edinburgh and Glasgow by car
Blairgowrie is just over 15 miles from Perth train station.
Buses run hourly from Perth (bus station is opposite the train station) to Blairgowrie. The bus terminal in Blairgowrie is directly across the road from The Angus Hotel so is very easily accessible. This terminal has buses departing regularly throughout the day. You can find the timetable here by selecting Blairgowrie: http://www.stagecoachbus.com/
Taxis from Perth to Blairgowrie can cost around £32.
