Walk: Elland Canal and Nature Reserve
Overview
Come and join Karen for a relaxing stroll along the Halifax Canal starting at Elland and walking towards Brighouse going around Cromwell Bottom nature reserve and back to Elland.
We'll meet at Elland Bridge at 12pm to start our walk which is approximately 5 miles. A table is booked at Cooper Kitchen and Bar for lunch at 2.30pm. As the menu changes weekly you will be able to order and pay on the day.
Most paths are tarmac but please wear sensible and appropriate footwear as it may be muddy and also difficult to walk on the cobbles. You may also with to bring a drink with you for the walk.

Location & Itinerary
The Sunday menu changes weekly so you will be able to order and pay on the day. As well as a Sunday roast they also have pizzas and burgers. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets can be accommodated.
12pm at Elland Bridge ready to walk
Elland Bridge is located next to the canal.
Parking on Elland Bridge is down Gas Works Lane which is half way over the bridge, look for the cycle route sign, there is also a few road side parking spaces on the Elland side just before you start crossing the bridge.
