A chic new addition to the food and drink scene in Solihull and the West Midlands, KIBOU Solihull is an intimate venue that offers a real escape from the ordinary, and a journey of discovery for any lover of Japanese food and drink.
Situated on Solihull high street, we’re a beautifully transformed Grade II listed restaurant that oozes glamour and design aesthetics. Golden Japanese acers add a vibrant colour throughout our design, enhanced by bold frieze panel murals and projector animations depicting iconic Asian street scenes.
Grab a drink in the opulent, marble decked cocktail bar, watch our sushi maestros at work from the open sushi kitchen.
A bit about our fish…
We only work with fish suppliers who, like us, care about protecting the world’s fish and seafood stocks.
Where possible we source from sustainable small-scale fisheries with animal welfare at the heart of their business. Many practice Ikejime, a traditional Japanese method of harvesting fish in a more humane way. Our tuna is pole and line caught and our yellowtail comes from recognised sustainable suppliers in the Indian Ocean.
As we are in centre of Solihull, you can use the many public transport options to have a break from driving.

Location & Itinerary
As many of you know, we usually look to work with a set price, choice menu. This makes it easier for us to collect the money in advance and then settle the bill with the venue.
We are finding more and more restaurants who we would love to include in our events programme don’t have a set price menu, and the menu options are too varied for us to use a mid-price point, to charge everyone the same.
We tried a method where you pay a nominal fee to Spice and just pay for your food on the day but that makes it very complicated for the host.
Rather than excluding these restaurants we are trying a method whereby members pay a nominal amount to Spice to book, and pre-order their food in advance, but off the full menu. We will then update each booking with the actual price and (where necessary) a service charge.

Parking: There are several carparks throughout Solihull, in touchwood there is a flat fee after 18:00 its £1.70 or why not get the bus or the train
