Drive a Deltic
Overview
For a very limited time the Severn Valley Railway are offering the option of a Deltic for some of their driving days.
Steve has secured just 4 places for the 8th May.
Deltics are the undisputed beasts of diesel locomotives and there is nothing quite like the sight and sound of a Deltic locomotive in full cry!
Experience the power and surge of adrenaline as you take the controls on our half day* experience hauling a heavy train of carriages.
Running over the whole length of the line, you will power through Bewdley Tunnel, glide across Victoria Bridge and storm up Eardington Bank.
Bring a guest: you can bring up to 2 guests to travel on the train free
How the day works…
