Overview
Join us for a classic Blackpool Illuminations Social Weekend away: Blackpool offers a vibrant mix of traditional British seaside charm and modern entertainment. We can start our trip by exploring the iconic Blackpool Tower, which features a thrilling glass skywalk, a historic ballroom, and a world-famous family circus. Thrill-seekers can enjoy spending a full day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach riding intense rollercoasters like ICON and the Big One. For a more relaxed pace, you can stroll along the three historic piers to play arcade games and enjoy classic fish and chips by the sea. When we visit, we will also experience the famous Blackpool Illuminations lighting up the promenade. Blackpool is highly accessible by foot or the heritage tramway. Full itinerary will be posted nearer the time however there will be a walk on one of the days. There are so many exciting places to see and explore.

Situated on North Promenade, The Imperial Hotel is a Blackpool landmark and has welcomed a host of royalty, politicians, statesmen and stars of both the stage and screen over the years. The hotel enjoys spectacular views of the beach to the sea and is close to all major attractions.
By Rail: Blackpool North railway station is only 0.75 mile from the Imperial Hotel. Regular trains to and from Preston take just half an hour.
By Road: From M6 at jct 32 and follow M55 towards Blackpool. Then exit M55 at jct 4 on to A583 and follow North Shore signs. The Imperial Hotel is just out of the town centre on North Promenade, a mile north of Blackpool Tower. Limited free on-street options exist near the Imperial Hotel Blackpool on the North Promenade, there is an onsite car park which is chargeable on a daily basis, £7 per day Special Spice rate.
