Overview

Spice South Coast are holding their first Summer Garden Party with BBQ, thanks to the hospitality of Anita, who will be opening up her garden to us and has promised us a fantastic spread - I can guarantee you there will not be a burger in sight.

The BBQ is an afternoon of feasting with platters for sharing, served throughout. The menu features such delights as treacle roasted fillet of beef, lemon butter grilled prawns and scallops, Mediterranean chicken skewers, slow roasted pulled pork and award winning Chipolatas.

The main events will be complemented with an array of salads and side dishes such as Caesar mini mozzarella, spicy harissa carrot and sultana, butter steamed mushrooms and a variety of freshly baked breads.

Come and join Anita on the first of a series of South Coast strolls for those who love being by the sea. We will be following the English Coastal Trail.

This is the first of 6 ambles over the summer and is an easy 1.5 hour stroll. There are several excellent coffee stops, along the way, and stunningly beautiful views over the Fareham lake, including inspiring views over the iconic Spinnaker Tower.

This event is free and open to non-members/ex-members of Spice South Coast who may be interested in joining/re-joining the group but wanting to experience an event before committing. If you are free in the morning, you may like to join Anita on the first of her series of walks, Fareham to Portchester Castle which has been advertised separately - whichever you choose, you will be guaranteed a fun time.
