Mangia Mangia is an independent family-run Italian Deli Shop & Spritz Bar in the heart of Lichfield. Since opening their doors in 2021, their Deli shop has thrived and they are now offering cookery courses, to pass on their skills.
Tonight, this hands-on course will get us stuck into making gnocchi from scratch whilst learning how to cook 'The Italian Way'!
This Spice exclusive evening promises to be a wonderful experience full of eating, drinking and talking all things Italian!
This course is suitable for absolute beginners as well as those who feel confident in the kitchen and includes a bruschetta antipasto with a glass of wine on arrival, gnocchi with lemon pesto for dinner and tiramisu for dessert (which you'll be making too!).

About Gnocchi: Originated from Northern Italy, Gnocchi (pronounced nyoh-kee) are small, soft Italian dumplings, most commonly made from a mixture of potato, flour, and egg.
While often considered a type of pasta, they are technically a dumpling, popular in Italian cuisine.
Location & Itinerary
Tonight we will enjoy a 3 course meal which we will mainly be making ourselves:
For Starter we will we welcomed with a glass of wine and Italian Bruschetta Antipasto
For Main we will be eating the Gnocchi that we have made ourselves with a lemon pesto dressing
For dessert we will enjoy a traditional Tiramisu, that we will also learn how to make on the day.
Allergens:: Please be aware that their setting is a mixed ingredient environment, and we will be working with a range of allergens.
Vegetarians: Lessons are suitable for vegetarians.
Access: The deli is fully accessible with accessible toilets also.
Mangia Mangia is located where the Old Picture House used to be on Tamworth Street just a few steps up from the Wetherspoons - The Acorn Inn.
By Public Transport: Lichfield Bus Station and the Lichfield City Train Station are 6-8 minutes walk away respectively.
By Car: For those driving there are a number of car parks nearby - please see Lichfield Council's parking map.
The closest car park is Lombard Street Car park which is a 3 minute walk away through the Tanneries.
