Spice Exclusive Event!

For this tour we will hear stories of Birmingham's beer, brewing and public houses on a guided walk.

The pubs we visit have been chosen because of their historical significance/features and stories, as well as their hospitality. The exact route and venues will vary depending upon a number of factors on the day to ensure the best experience for guests.

We’ll pop into 3 or 4 wonderful venues along the way, where we can sample some ale (or whatever you prefer) and celebrate what British pubs have always promoted - a drink and a chat, on this friendly small group tour.

It’s a walking tour not a pub crawl though so expect to walk around 2.5 miles over the course of the tour, so that we can include some of those 'out of the way' gems. The ‘refreshments’ will be all the more welcome after a good stroll!

Over half of the tour will be spent in the pubs so we’ll have plenty of time to experience their ambience. You won’t have time for a meal, but you’ll be able to buy traditional pub snacks and/or cobs subject to the venue and availability. No drinks or food are included in the ticket price. This is an adults only tour!

We meet outside Snow Hill train station (Colmore Row entrance) and will finish at a city centre pub near Centenary Square or the Mailbox and within about half a mile of New St train station.

The tour is suitable for anyone of average fitness but can include steps and some quite steep slopes. Participants must be confident they can complete 2.5 miles walking over the duration of the tour.
