Only Spice on Horses!
Overview
The Warwick International School of Riding’ has a tremendous reputation for their professional attitude and friendly atmosphere. It’s a great setting whether you’re a beginner, a novice or an advanced rider and this event welcomes all 3! Spice have been working with Janet and the riding school since 2003 and we can't wait to return once again.
On arrival, we will be split into separate groups depending on our ability. We can then enjoy a tailored and varied programme of lessons, hacks, jumping, riding around the grounds etc depending upon our experience.
The afternoon includes fun games such as gymkhanas with plenty of opportunities to win rosettes! You will be entertained for the whole day and should get a good few hours on horseback, so we consider the day to be excellent value for money.
You just need to bring a packed lunch. There is a garage/pub up the road but a packed lunch will mean we can all eat together. We hope to reach 10 bookings so that the day can be exclusively for Spice, but if not, please be aware that we may need to be mixed with the general public.
Includes
- Safety Helmet hire
- Morning horse riding lesson
- Afternoon gymkhana games activities
- Rosettes for the winners
Extras

Feedback from our previous visits
● “Just a quick email to say today's riding fun day was a really enjoyable event. It was well organised and very inclusive, however confident or inexperienced you were on a horse. Could you please pass on my thanks to the staff at Warwick riding centre who were very attentive and patient, and made the day great fun”
● “The horse riding fun day is the best value for money horse riding I have come across. More than 4 hours in the saddle with great variety and instructors who push you to do what you are capable of. The horses are great and much better than normal school horses as they get a much greater variety of work. The grounds are fantastic and more experienced riders will experience cross country and showjumping in addition to school work and games. Even novices are led down to the cross country fields to ride there. The gymkhanas in the afternoon can be hysterical and everyone takes part.I book every one I can get to (which is most of them) and would recommend the day to anyone who can ride or would like to try it out. You'll be amazed at how much you learn. A full on day of horse riding. Be prepared for aches and pains for a few days after if your a novice. Horses are well trained and there was a good atmosphere. Amazed at how much I accomplished on the day as never been on a horse but really enjoyed it, Sore bottom and all!”
● ”It was a thoroughly fun day out with a horse riding lesson in the morning and those that were novices could be on leads but if not then you had the option of jumps and then the afternoon after an hour for lunch we play games whilst on the horses. Such a laugh”
