Peruvian Sunday Roast at Chotto Matte
Overview
Chotto Matte launched its Peruvian Sunday Roast this March, a bold Nikkei-style reimagining of the classic Sunday lunch. This "Sunday ritual" is served on the restaurant's 10th-floor rooftop, offering skyline views alongside a vibrant sharing feast.
The meal is designed as a sharing experience featuring fire-led cooking and signature Peruvian ingredients:
Mains: Coriander-marinated Roast Baby Chicken, slow-pulled Anticucho Pachamanca Beef and charcoal-grilled Robata sausages.
Trimmings: Reimagined classics including sesame furikake roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese with crispy chorizo, and chargrilled corn with rocoto chilli butter and queso fresco.
Gravy: A unique Japanese-Peruvian inspired teriyaki-based glaze.
Upgrades: An optional 125ml glass of wine can be added for £5 per person
Chotte Matte's Art Influence: Continuously seeking creative influence through art, Chotto Matte collaborates with like-minded creatives, artists, fashion designers, and more. For their Manchester opening, they partnered with local artist Carla Raad to create bold graffiti-style UV murals, producing the ideal, dynamic backdrop for every occasion. An international contemporary artist, Carla blends contemporary expressionism with lyrical abstraction – transforming natural landscapes into visceral, high-impact paintings renowned for their intensity and edge.
Dress Code: Smart Casual: Guests typically dress up a little for the rooftop setting and skyline views, think neat, contemporary outfits rather than beachwear or gym clothes. Smart-casual attire helps match the venue’s stylish design and lively atmosphere
