Join us for a relaxed Sunday lunch at The Hedgehog, which is part of the Vintage Inns group of establishments.
Originally called Lyncroft House and home to composer Muzio Clementi, the now beautifully restored pub sits in its own grounds and large gardens, with ample off-road parking. Built in 1797, 13 years after the death of Lichfield's most famous son, Dr Samuel Johnson, the building retains its character thanks to a recent £1m restoration project.
All of this history plus its picturesque surroundings and a stunning backdrop makes this unique pub near us a great place.
The Hedgehog has a superb selection of seasonally inspired food to enjoy any time of the day, from brunch with friends to Sunday Roasts.
The Hedgehog also has a carefully selected range of cask ales and fine wines to enjoy with your meal.

Location & Itinerary
As many of you know, we usually look to work with a set price, choice menu. This makes it easier for us to collect the money in advance and then settle the bill with the venue.
We are finding more and more restaurants who we would love to include in our events programme who don’t have a set price menu, and the menu options are too varied for us to use a mid-price point, to charge everyone the same.
We tried a method where you pay a nominal fee to Spice and just pay for your food on the day but that makes it very complicated for the host.
Rather than excluding these restaurants we are trying a method whereby members pay a nominal amount to Spice to book, and pre-order their food in advance, but off the full menu. We will then update each booking with the actual price and (where necessary) a service charge.
You can see their current menu using this link but bear in mind that the menu could change before our visit. We will send a link to pre-order your menu choices nearer the date of the meal.
