Reading Cocktail Week

Reading's FIRST-EVER city-wide cocktail event takes place from 3rd - 12th July 2026!

I'm not quite sure how this will work as the actual events and offers are yet to be announced. My idea is to buy the wristbands and then use the event forum to organise the events and offers as they are announced, as well as adding details here.
The bands increase in price as we approach the date so buy early.
I'm pretty sure we can find several reasons to drink cocktails during the period, maybe a cocktail crawl will be the order of the day!

Reading Cocktail week
I’ve got the wristbands so we are all set to go on Friday 3rd.I can still purchase more wristbands, so please join us.
I suggest we start from Reading Station at 7.30pm, and my proposed route is:
Malmaisson
Boom Battle Bar
Mccafferty’s Irish Bar
The Botanist
The Cosy Club
All of these places will be offering signature cocktails and mocktails between £5 and £7 some of them also serve food, some of them have an extended cocktail menu for the whole week. Malmaisson seems a good place to have our first signature cocktail and something from the BAR MENU You don’t have to eat, you can stick to the cocktails, but I plan to have something small with my first cocktail of the evening.
There are many venues taking part, and although I will suggest routes, we may choose not to enter a particular venue, or find it is too busy so may skip a venue. We don’t have to visit them all, we can pace ourselves!

I have a private event on Saturday, but you guys are welcome to sort something out using the forum or just chatting on Friday night.
Sunday 5th
I’m proposing the following:
Start at The Cosy Club 2pm (again we can have a bite to eat if we want) then moving on to

Monday 6th
Some of us are attending Games Night at Milk Bar, at 7pm which is a participating venue, so you are welcome to join us there.
Wednesday 8th I am on a River cruise all day, but happy to meet up when I get back to Reading (about 6.30pm) if anyone is interested.
Saturday 11th
I’m proposing the following:
Meet at Village Hotel on Caversham Bridge 2pm. We can try their special cocktail, then move to the other side of the Bridge to visit:

Sunday 12th
I am planning to attend Flight Club on Station Hill. You can join me for a fun game of darts and take advantage of the cocktail week offer of Tacos, Fries and Cocktail for £17 Flight Club has a pretty reasonable menu FLIGHT CLUB MENU and it should be a fun afternoon.
If there are other venues on the list that you’d particularly like to visit, let me know and we’ll squeeze them in somehow!
