Tamworth Waterways Ramble

Join Steve Dell for a lovely 5 mile ramble from Tamworth, exploring the various waterways and the surrounding countryside.

We start near the castle and make our way to the railway station and then out into the countryside as we follow the River Anker.

We pass near to Amington Hall and have a brief rest at a pretty bridge over the river.

The return follows the Coventry Canal as we head back to Tamworth. For the final stretch we re-join the lovely riverside path back to the castle.
