Alan's Walk - Windsor - Runnymede Walk
Overview
Join Alan for a 5 mile walk we will start from our Hotel.
We will walk along the Thames Path passing the statue of Queen Elizabeth II. We will then cross Runnymede meadow to a long steep hill that will take us to the first memorial overlooking the Thames, the magnificent and poignant Air Forces Memorial. We will then go downhill through woods to Writ in Water and the Magna Carta Memorial. We will then climb 50 steps (to represent the 50 US states) to the JFK Memorial before returning to the hotel via the Jurors Chairs and National Trust Cafe.
