Anita's Ambles: Fareham to Portchester Castle
Overview
Come and join Anita on the first of a series of South Coast strolls for those who love being by the sea. We will be following the English Coastal Trail.
This is the first of 6 ambles over the summer and is an easy 1.5 hour stroll. There are several excellent coffee stops, along the way, and stunningly beautiful views over the Fareham lake, including inspiring views over the iconic Spinnaker Tower.
We will met at 10.30 am at Cams Mill and take a gentle stroll following the lakeside and then a well deserved bus ride back!
There are no inclines but some uneven surfaces, including stretches along the sea wall, grassy parklands, footpaths, woodland trails and even a short pebble beach stretch, ideal for those wanting to stretch their legs, but not Summer-Olympic fit yet (like me)!
