Sunday Walk: Clifton Country Park and Bluebells at Ringley Woods
Overview
Today's walk takes us from the picturesque village of Ringley, along the river to Clifton Country Park. Passing through the park we then carry on to the historical Clifton Aqueduct. From here we cross the motorway and work our way along the Outward Trail, popping up to Hurst Wood for our lunch stop, before returning, once again, to the Horseshoe via Ringley Woods where we should be lucky enough to see the bluebells in all their glory!
Toilets: at Clifton Country Park
Disclaimer: as much as we have tried to time this walk for resplendent bluebells, we are at the hands of the weather gods :-)
