Terry's Reading Walkabouts - Dingleys Promise Charity
Overview
I contacted Terry and he is very keen to get Spice Social members who are interested in the history of the area to attend some of his walks. This one is far enough in advance that we may be able to book some spaces! The walks are not Spice Exclusive (although I may be trying to arrange some Spice Exclusive ones in the future) so the event will go ahead even if the numbers appear low.
A minimum of £5 per person will go directly to Terry for his chosen charity. Extra cash donations will be welcome on the day. Please arrive promptly so he can register you and provide a safety briefing, then you will set off at 10.30am, the tour will last around 2hr 15 minutes.

Terry is leading this special Walkabout with proceeds going to Dingley's Promise (DP) They strive to provide the best start for every child, supporting children in their early years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
This Year for the 1st year ever, Terry will be leading a few Special DP Walkabouts based on their history etc. They were formed in Reading at Battle Hospital, became a charity and are starting to spread around the country, starting in the South with 12 Centre & their HQ is in Newbury.
