Sip and Stitch - Embroidery Evening

Join us for a chilled, cosy night out at Renato Lounge with this relaxed sip and stitch embroidery workshop in Mere Green. Set in a warm, welcoming space, this evening is all about slowing down, enjoying the atmosphere, and learning a beautiful creative skill while stitching alongside others.
If you’ve never tried embroidery before, you’re absolutely in the right place. This workshop is designed for complete beginners, and everything starts from the very basics.
You’ll be guided gently and clearly by Chanel, with plenty of time to ask questions and work at your own pace.
By the end of the evening, you’ll head home with your own finished embroidery piece and a lovely sense of calm and accomplishment. Whether you’re looking for a gentle creative outlet, a mindful night out, or something a little different to do with friends, this sip and stitch workshop is the perfect option.

Location & Itinerary
Chanel Green is the founder of 'Nelly Makes', which is the DIY side of D J Chanel Designs - a fabric design business. Chanel used to run a home interiors company, making bespoke curtains and soft furnishings. She gave up this business to focus more on design. However, as a Textiles teacher and a lover of all things arts and crafts she wants to continue passing on her skills to those eager to tap into their inner creativity. As a previous tutor at Midlands Arts Centre and with years experience as a Textiles Teacher, Chanel's specialities include embroidery, surface design, sewing, pattern cutting, couture sewing techniques, felting and batik to name a few.
Nelly Makes classes are small and cosy and full of creativity.
This workshop is not a Spice exclusive and could have members of the public there too
Renato Lounge is in the heart of Mere Green and conveniently has a car park right outside,
