Join us for an informative and fun guided walk: The 5 Quarters route is designed to showcase the very best of Manchester, with each quarter telling its own unique story. Meeting in Ancoats, we journey through the city’s contrasting neighbourhoods, ending at its origins — the Roman fortress of Mamucium, founded in 79 AD

Important: Our host will meet you there with the tickets at 9.50am, please be on time - the tour departs at 10am prompt and it won't wait for later-comers so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get there and meet up with our host.
Please Note: The tour finishes at St. Peter's Square - it does not return you to the starting point.

The tour kicks off in Cutting Room Square, Ancoats — once the beating heart of Manchester’s industrial might, now one of the world’s coolest neighbourhoods (Time Out). It’s the perfect starting point to uncover the city’s rich past and ambitious future.
The tour ends in the civic heart of the city, outside the Central Library in St. Peter's Square — the perfect place to say farewell, knowing you've either seen or heard about everything that makes Manchester so special.
Metrolink: Piccadilly Gardens & Market Street stops are around a 14 minute (0.6 mile) walk
Your Spice host will meet you there at 9.50am please be on time - the tour departs at 10am prompt and we can't wait for latercomers so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get there and meet up with our host.
