Lichfield, McClean Way and Gentleshaw Ramble
Overview
A new 6 mile ramble with Rob Smith using the entire length of the newly opened McClean Way from Lichfield.
We will start from Lichfield Bus station and catch the 60 Chaserider bus to Chasetown a journey of about 15 minutes. We will then pass close to Chasewater and after a short canal section we join the Mc Clean way back to Lichfield. This route passes Gentleshaw Church as we head over farmland. We make our via some lovely cuttings and embankments to the crossing at Fossway lane. Hear we will leave the railway and return via the Lichfield canal.
