Join us on our Buxton Real Ale Bar Tour
Home of Buxton Water, Buxton is an iconic town nestled in the centre of the beautiful peak district with stunning views and world-famous Georgian and Victorian architecture. For today's bar tour, all pubs chosen specialise in real ales, as well as the usual tipples. All the bars are conveniently located and between 1-10 mins walk of each other.
The train station is close by being a 5/11 mins walk from the first/last bar and we will be eating at 4pm at The Old Sun Inn. Please provide your menu choice at the time of booking.

We will meet in the first pub and then go together to further pubs we will be frequenting
- 1-2pm Buxton Tap House, George St SK17 6AY
- 2-3pm The Old Club House, 1 Water Street
- 3-4pm The Swan Hotel, High Street
- 4-5pm The Old Sun Inn, High Street for food
- 5–6pm Cheshire Cheese, High Street

We envisage that most people will travel by train to the start point however we would recommend waiting to book your ticket until the fortnight ahead of the event when we are more likely to know if the trains are operating. Your host Tanya with be catching the train scheduled to arrive into Buxton at 12:54 hours.
The first pub, the Buxton Brewery Tap House and Cellar Bar is a 4 minute (0.2 mile) walk from Buxton Railway Station.
