Anita's Ambles: Langstone to Warblington Loop
Overview
Come and join Anita for the second stroll of the season. This time we are exploring the picturesque Emsworth Harbour, starting from the Langstone Road Bridge, the gateway to Hayling Island.
This walk will be a relaxed 60-90 minutes, starting along the waterside with sea wall, beach and paths to follow. The views across the harbour are stunning by anyone's standards! Then for a bit of variety we will cut into woods and amble around the well maintained tracks before heading into the cemetery at Warblington, then across field footpaths to return us to the blue beauty of the harbour.
As well as the natural beauty of the harbour, we will be in sight of the last tower of the Warblington Castle, the old millpond and the pretty St Thomas' Church.
It is a circular walk with parking and toilets available in the public car park next to the Ship Inn, our base for the day.
And why not book on one of Spice South Coast famous Sunday lunches which just so happens to be at our destination - go on, you have earned it!
