Paranormal Ghost Hunt at Tamworth Castle

This is a 5–hour event at night time. The team will take us on a ghost hunter’s journey, where we will be a key part of the investigation. Carrying out experiments, tests, calling out or quiet sit-and-wait sessions. We will get a full hands-on experience. This is very much our investigation, so be prepared to join in. The team will be on hand to advise, support and encourage us to get the most out of our ghostly experience. This event is a full-on experience of ghost hunting.

Numerous ghost stories have been told over the years, but did you know that three ghosts are said to haunt Tamworth Castle?

Home to many a notable family. In the 16^th century, the castle was partially destroyed during the English Civil and was rebuilt in the Victorian area.

Tamworth Castle is rich in history, with many ghost sightings and ghost stories to be told. But who are they?

One is said to be the most famous of them all, and that is the “Green Lady”. We believe this to be the ghost of Lady Elizabeth Drury, who was imprisoned in the castle for her part in the Babington plot to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I. She is still seen, to this day, walking around the rooms.

Another ghost said to haunt the castle is that of a man in black, understood to be the ghost of a soldier who was killed during the English Civil War, but what is said by the many people who have seen this ghost is that he appears to be friendly. Well, we need to find out for ourselves.

With many ghost stories, this is the ideal location for a paranormal investigation.

Haunted Heritage is a professional Paranormal events company using ghost hunting equipment, including EMF Meters, K2 Meters, etc. On the night there will be experiments including glass divination, table tipping and Ouija boards. You may also experience a séance in our attempt to make contact with the ‘other side’.

Please note that this is not a Spice exclusive event and you will be joined by other members of the public.. Group size will be around 18-28 people split into groups of three.
