Sunday Walk: Whitegate and Marton
Overview
Join us for this walk taking in a part of the Whitegate Way where heavy goods trains laden with salt once lumbered to Cuddington to join the Chester - Manchester line. Today the old railway line has been transformed and provides a haven for wildlife and a pleasant place for a stroll, cycle or horse ride. We then head off in to pasture land, through woodland and past pools through Whitegate Village before heading back mainly through pasture to our start point.
