There can’t be a more spectacular location for a country pub, than the Saxon Mill. It enjoys unrivalled views over the river and Guys Cliffe. Spice have dined here many times in years gone by and we've always had great feedback, so thought it was about time we visited again.
The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and informal, yet they have a beautiful interior, featuring open kitchens, stone fired ovens and log burning fires, offset by beautifully landscaped decking for alfresco dining.
They are busy virtually every day and are even a popular wedding venue too. They have a great reputation for imaginative cuisine from the freshest ingredients.
