Saturday Evening Dining at the Trooper in Wall
Overview
The Trooper at Wall is a lovely country pub which oozes style and class. Having dined here myself many times, I have never been disappointed and thought it was about time that Spice experienced it too. Trip Advisor also agrees and awarded The Trooper one of their 'Travellers' Choice awards' in 2024 for consistently earning great reviews and therefore being in the top 10% of the best reviewed hospitality business’ in the world!
We will be choosing off the main menu so will send a Google Form to you closer to the time, for you to select your options and then your booking price will be adjusted to reflect this.
You can see their current menu using this link but bear in mind that the menu could change before our visit.
Please let us know of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Location & Itinerary
We will be ordering from their full menu so we can all have full flexibility over what we'd like to order. Here is a link to their current menu which includes their signature steaks, skewers, burgers and even Wagyu fillets for those wanting to push the boat out.
They have a vast menu which also includes things like Thai Seabass Curry, Panko Chicken Carbonara, Vegan Minted Shepherd Pie, Salads and Jumbo Fish & Chips to name but a few.
As numbers are fairly low (and the restaurant is full so we cannot increase our table size), we will be ordering on the day and paying individually.
The Trooper is located in the small village of Wall on Watling Street which is off the A5 and not far from Muckley Corner
