Old Thelwall Village Canal Walk with Lunch
Overview
Join us for a pleasant walk of around 4 miles taking in both the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans-Pennie Trail! The walk is generally on decent paths and towpaths though it could be a little muddy and we would definitely recommend you wear your walking boots/sturdy shoes.
After our walk of around 4 miles we return to the highly rated Little Manor Pub in the beautiful village of Thelwall for our lunch at 2pm. Little Manor in Old Thelwall was built in 1660 for the Percival family, whose coat of arms was found painted on an interior wall and thereafter adopted the crest as their pub sign. The pub pride themselves on offering fresh, vibrant dishes and local cask ales.
