Linda's Walk: Gravesend to Higham 11 Mile Walk with Fort Visits

Please meet by the 'big white bird cage' (near the German Gymnasium building) on Pancras Road that runs between London Kings Cross and St Pancras railway stations at 0950, ready to depart promptly at 10:00.  

The morning walk takes us first to the Wellcome museum where we will have time to look at the human body & mind exhibits, use the loos and get a coffee if you wish. 

Just a short walk from here will bring us to The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology where we will take time to explore their exhibits. 

We'll then walk on to a Wetherspoons pub (in an ex-bank) for lunch (at your own expense). 

After lunch we will continue our walk alongside the Thames to the Walkie Talkie building where I have timed entry tickets for us to go up to the Sky Garden where you might like to treat yourself to afternoon tea. Then we'll go out onto the outdoor viewing balcony to watch the sun set over London (clear sky permitting).
