Kaths Pub Walk - Swinley Forest 4 miles
Overview
Please arrive at 10:20 for 10:30 am start at the Golden Retriever. Please note while these are shorter walks with time for socialising afterwards, they are still walks. So please ensure you are properly equipped including bringing water, wearing suitable clothing and footwear etc.
The walk will take us into Swinley Forest passing through an Iron Age Hillfort, part of the 3 Castles Path and part of the Devil’s Highway. Returning to the Golden Retriever for refreshments.

We will walk whatever the weather (unless there is a severe weather warning from the Met Office) so please dress appropriately, including walking boots or walking trainers. Take a picnic lunch water and refreshments for the walk too. We will meet at 10.20am for a prompt start at 10.30am.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to join the walk with their responsible owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the walk. The walk has not been checked for suitability for dogs, which means we may encounter things like stiles. You must be able to carry your dog at these challenges as we are unable to divert the walk. We have also not checked with any of the pubs, so you might need to leave your dog outside.
