Join Spice Solent as you embark on an exhilarating sailing experience day aboard a modern sailing yacht. This day sail is perfect for beginners to dip your toes in or those wanting a starting point to then go on to do more sailing and/or courses.
The yacht sailing experience day will leave from Shamrock Quay, Southampton. How the day works can be guided by you - if there's anywhere you'd like to sail to or anything you'd like to learn in particular, let us know!. There’s every opportunity to get involved as part of a team. Alternatively, you can sit back and relax and watch the stunning views go by and enjoy a delightful day's sailing experience on the Solent.
Whether you are helping to sail the boat or watching the world go by sailing can be hungry work. All snacks will be provided plus a delicious tasty lunch.
After a short introduction to the boat and your fellow crew mates you will cast off into the Solent to start your sailing experience day.
What makes this day great for beginners is the hands-on opportunity to learn the ropes—literally. Feel the thrill of hoisting sails or trying your hand at steering. Soak in that sea air, and make this year one of new experiences.
