Retford to Sheffield Real Ale Trail
Join us for a day out enjoying the hostelries on the Retford to Sheffield Real Ale Trail.
We'll meet up on the 10:39 from Sheffield to Retford that gets in at 11:21. A couple of the Retford pubs will be open by the time we get there and we have included the price of your first drink. Then we'll start to make our way back to Sheffield one station at a time on the trains that run approximately one each hour (until after 11pm) stopping at the intervening stations.
As we travel along the rail line, we'll encounter various micropubs, pubs and taprooms that have emerged as popular destinations for beer enthusiasts.
Not all the pubs are right by the stations and some are up to ten minutes’ walk away.
We'll stop somewhere on route for some lunch.
