Modern Brush Lettering Calligraphy
Overview
Come and spend a couple of hours learning and practising a new skill. Jayne from Taylor’s Crafts will help and support you to get the most out of this workshop.
Brush lettering is a style of writing similar to calligraphy. With each letter, heavy pressure is applied on the downward stroke and light pressure is applied with every upward stroke. Because of the use of pressure and the appearance of the letters, brush lettering is commonly known as modern calligraphy.
With all the pens and colours, you could possibly wish for to use and with Jayne’s guidance we will have help with this technique with handouts for you to take home to continue this wonderful art.
All materials will be supplied for you to take your masterpiece home, finished…..a box frame of your work.
A drink and homemade cake is included in the price as well.
