Newbury Racecourse welcomes Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ella Henderson on Saturday 19th July as they perform a double header live after racing on Weatherbys Super Sprint.

The BRIT award-nominated artists will co-headline Weatherbys Super Sprint Day on Saturday 19th July, performing full sets after an afternoon of racing.

Your ticket gives access to the Grandstand Enclosure for the day's racing and for the Clean Bandit concert which follows the racing.

This is sure to be a terrific event, not to be missed. You will be supplied with a ticket closer to the event, so you can arrive at a time that suits you, you will then be directed to call your host to arrange where to meet.

Dress code

Grandstand Enclosure & Racegoers Restaurant

The Grandstand enclosure offers a more relaxed dress code than the Premier enclosure. Smart shorts, smart denim jeans and trainers are acceptable. Denim must not be ripped, no bare chests, sports/ supporter shirts, vests or tracksuits are allowed in any of the enclosures and Newbury Racecourse reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone whose attire may cause offence or danger to other racegoers.

Chairs, tents, parasols, gazebos or bikes

Weapons or anything that may be considered offensive

Flags or banners containing poles or sticks and that could restrict the view of or be construed as offensive to other spectators

Security

Please be aware that we are currently operating heightened security measures at all our race meetings.

This means that there will be more extensive bag and physical search procedures for everyone at all our entrances, which may include search dogs. You may also notice a stronger security presence throughout the site and the vicinity. On occasions the police may directly use further drug detection methods to support our own searching regimes.

These measures may mean that access to the Racecourse might take longer than you expect. Please be prepared for this and allow sufficient extra time. Please also bear in mind that if you exit at any stage, you will need to pass through security to re-enter. We also ask that you do not bring unnecessary bags or luggage into the racecourse.

Grandstand Ticket: This ticket gives access to the Grandstand Enclosure for the day's racing and for the performances from Sophie Ellis Bextor & Ella Henderson which follow the racing.

Raceday Timings

Gates Open: 11am

Racing Starts: 1:50pm

Racing Ends: 5:30pm

Sophie/ Ella Live: 6pm

Getting There

ARRIVING BY CAR

The racecourse is clearly signposted and just minutes from Junctions 12 and 13 of the M4, also easily accessible from the M3. The course is clearly signposted from the M4 and from the A34 South of Newbury. There is ample FREE on-the-day parking. On racedays, all traffic approaching the racecourse from the east, west and north via the M4 (junctions 12 or 13) should travel along the A4 following the racecourse signs and enter the site via Hambridge Road. For Sat Nav users, the nearest postcode to the bridge is RG14 7PN. If you are travelling from the south from the A339 follow signs and enter the course via Racecourse Road.

Please follow our yellow event day signage and accompanying brown signs which will bring you to our site. Once you arrive our traffic team will direct you to where you need to park

ARRIVING BY TRAIN

Newbury Racecourse has its own station, one stop from Newbury Station, with direct trains from London Paddington on selected major racedays and regular connections from the West.There is now a new road bridge over the railway line at the eastern end of the racecourse and a new road layout on arrival.
