Review of 2024 Quiz in Sheffield
This time we look back over 2024 - a year which saw a General Election in the UK, ongoing war in Europe and the Middle East, and natural disasters worldwide. We'll try to focus on the jollier news though!
In sport we saw the Summer Olympics and Paralympics and football's Euros among many highlights.
I'm sure that Kylie and the Simpsons have been up to something too! But how much of the year can you remember? The quiz will be split into rounds taking us through from January to December.
It’s a great fun cheapo night out and who knows you may even find your team are the top of the class. Don't worry if you don't know anyone. Your friendly co-ordinator and quiz master will put you into teams for the evening's fun. On the night each participant will be asked to then put the extra £1 into a prize fund. The winning team will then win this prize fund to split between themselves so the more people booked on the quiz the more cash is in the prize!! You'll also have the chance to win another quiz for free!
Includes
- a Kylie question
- a Simpsons question
- many more questions
- an ongoing round
- cash prize goes to one winning team
- free future quiz is another prize
Extras
- £1 towards prize fund on the night

We meet in the snug.
Dog & Partridge is on the corner of Trippett Lane and Bailey Street. There is some on street parking on both these streets priced at £2 for all evening. The nearest car parks are Carver Lane or Bailey Lane, which is a little more expensive. Please note that pricing is subject to change so please check when parking. If you prefer a multi-storey car park, use the Rockingham Street Q-Park.
See Parkopedia for Sheffield city centre parking.
Many buses stop on West Street and the West Street / Rockingham Street stop (by Jobcentre Plus), or West Street / City Hall CH3 stop are the nearest.
By tram, the City Hall stop is on the blue and yellow routes and only 150 metres walk from the pub.
Please try to be there for a 7:30pm start.
