Sunday Walk: Cuddington

Return to Events

Overview

An easy figure of eight walk which explores the pleasant tangle of wooded dells, babbling streams and lakes in and around this very beautiful part of Cheshire.  There are sylvan glades, pastoral scenes and wildlife is abundant too, with woodpeckers often heard in the woodland here.  A point of historical interest en route is Delamere Park, now a manicured housing development but formerly the site of Delamere House, seat of the Wilbraham family. Please bring your walking boots and a bite to eat as we will be having a picnic on the walk.

DOGS: Lauren welcomes well behaved dogs on her walks. They need to be kept on a lead if we are walking amongst livestock, whilst we are eating and at all times if there is someone on the walk who is nervous of dogs.
