Chaos Karting
Overview
This is the last chance (its disappearing for a while and there introducing different games ) to try the Ultimate Karting Experience - CHAOS KARTS which is a new, live action video game experience. You’ll be racing real karts around tracks in a digitally projected world, with virtual weapons and power ups to use against your Spice friends!
How does it work? Using a combination of cutting-edge electric karts, projection mapping and augmented reality technology, we're going to put you right into the heart of the action!
Race your friends, compete and get ahead with power-ups on our immersive themed race circuits. It’s like a video game in real life!
DRIVE AND PLAY FOR REAL With the virtual world being digitally projected around you, the experience brings you an augmented reality experience without the need for any headsets or personal screens. It’s just you, your kart, and the virtual tracks.
The experience comes complete with varying track designs, a fully reactive and drivable electric kart and most importantly, usable in-kart power-ups and weapons that will allow you to ‘battle’ right up to the finishing line. Although we will be there for over an hour, we get 20/30 mins on the actual track and we will be sharing it with the general public as 8 race at a time.

Location & Itinerary
11.15am inside the venue, ready to start promptly as our Karts are booked for 11.20am
The venue is very centrally located in Manchester and attainable using Manchester’s public transport network. Deansgate Castlefield Metrolink Station is a 7 minute (0.3 mile) walk away. The main entrance is on Lower Byrom Street on the corner of Studio 1, just next door to the Science and Industry Museum and directly opposite St John’s Gardens. There is no onsite parking on site but there are a large number of public and paid parking options in the immediate area.
