Continuing our series of dining out on the east side of London, join us for dinner at Tarantino Restaurant, this lovely Italian Restaurant in Hornchurch.
Using 'the finest ingredients sourced both locally and from Italy', this cosy restaurant, decorated with Italian artwork and murals, prides itself in capturing 'the essence of Italy in every bite' and providing 'an unparalleled dining experience' with freshly prepared, traditional dishes 'crafted with passion and expertise'.
The menu includes meat, fish, seafood and vegetarian options ranging from pizza to lobster ravioli to roasted lamb shank.
Starters are £9-£15, mains are £13-£37, sides are £5.50 and desserts are £6-£12. Or you may prefer to choose the 3 course Party Menu at £34.95

To drink, they have wine (an extensive selection from Italy), beer (a few on tap), ciders, spirits, cocktails, mocktails, juices and soft drinks.
On the night you just pay for your own food, drinks and the relevant service charge (typically 12.5%). Cash and card are accepted.

The restaurant is a 17 minute walk from Hornchurch station, a 10 minute bus ride from Upminster station (both on the District line) or an 11 minute walk from Emerson Park station (on the Overground/Liberty line). It should be possible to park on a side street not too far away - try Abbs Cross Gardens, Appleton Way or Victor Gardens (all opposite Lidl) or Fairkytes Avenue (and walk through Lidl car park to the High Street - the access is roughly opposite #21, postcode RM11 1XS).
