Friday 27th December 2024 RACING
Day two of the Festival is Ladbrokes Desert Orchid Chase Day. Named after the charismatic grey who made Kempton Park his own, the day is packed full of quality racing including the Mare’s Handicap Hurdle Race, the Wayward Lad Novices’ Steeple Chase and, of course, The Desert Orchid Chase.
The 27th December is perfect for those wanting to come Christmas racing without the worry of the big Boxing Day crowds.
And there's no need to rush off after the last...we'll be rounding off two fantastic days with an epic after-party featuring live music from the Chip Shop Boys!

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Our catering options include a diverse range of quality cuisine. Within our Food Court area you will find fish & chips, a selection of homemade pies, a Trattoria serving freshly baked pizzas, and Costa Coffee serving a variety of coffee and snacks.
On the ground floor of the main Grandstand, the Kings of Kempton bars and the Sports Bar are available for refreshments.
Established in 1878, Kempton Park is one of London’s closest racecourses, just 16 miles from the City and steeped in history.
DIRECTIONS
We are located on the A308 between Sunbury on Thames and Hampton Court, less than one mile from Junction 1 of the M3 via Junction 12 of the M25. Priority car parking is provided to owners and trainers and those with a disabled badge and this is accessed via Gate 1 in Park Road.
PARKING
Free parking is available on all of our race days which is signposted on approach to the course. During the Ladbrokes Christmas Festival, parking charges may apply. If you have a Blue Badge, you can park in one of our designated bays in the parking area as long as your badge is on display at all times.
BY TRAIN
Kempton Park Racecourse boasts its own train station on-site – Kempton Park – which is situated 200 yards from the North entrance. Trains run every half an hour direct from London Waterloo with the journey time being just 40 minutes
