Canwell and Hints and Weeford Ramble

We've enjoyed this area so much in past years that Richard has designed a different circuit in the same area that will give us the chance to try some of the intreaguing footpaths that we haven't had the chance to try before. We are also promised a 'bat lodge!'.

This area takes in some lovely parts of the green belt that runs between Sutton, Lichfield and Tamworth.

It's around 7 miles, but is easy walking with no major hills. We start beside the historic Canwell Estate and visit areas of Hints and Weeford Village. There is lots of varied countryside to enjoy including a stretch of the Heart of England Way

There are also some options to work in a pub or cafe stop as well.
