Come and join us for our monthly curry club at this popular vibrant Indian restaurant.
Our meal tonight is a Thali which is served differently to how we normally have our curry night. All the food is brought together on one large metal tray and the vegetable dishes are chosen by the Chef on the night.

Location & Itinerary
Tonight we will be having a Thali which consists of a veg snack chosen by the Chef, a poppadom and chutney, 2 veg dishes chosen by the Chef, daal of the day, rice and your choice of curry and naan. The food is served all together on a large, round metal tray.
The options for the curry and naan are below. Please note that the gluten free option does not include a naan.
CURRY
Nee-ma’s chicken curry (GF) – mild and creamy version of a korma
Chicken Khurana (GF) – marinated chicken pieces cooked with sweet potatoes and coconut and flavoured with curry leaves
Chicken tikka masala (GF) – their take on the nation’s favourite
Garlic chilli chicken (GF, hot) – chicken thigh pieces with crushed garlic and green chillies
Punjabi butter chicken – chicken tikka pieces in an earthy, flavoursome and creamy tomato based sauce
Homestyle chicken curry (GF) – tender thigh meat
Delhi lamb curry (GF) – aromatic lamb rogan josh
Railway cabin lamb (GF, hot) – a traditional recipe served in the first class railway cabins of India. Lamb cooked on a slow fire with garlic, whole red chillies and curry leaves
Green lamb curry (GF) – succulent and tender pieces of lamb cooked with spinach greens and garlic
Keralan lamb curry (GF) – tender lamb chunks infused with hand ground South Indian spices, fresh curry leaves and simmered gently in coconut milk
Goan fish curry (GF) – curry made with chunks of white fish in a coconut sauce flavoured with goan chillies and tamarind
Prawn nilgiri (GF) – a fragrant and rich green prawn curry made with fresh coriander, mint and coconut milk
Tarka daal (V, GF) – yellow lentils cooked with cumin and garlic (VE available)
Black butter lentils (V, GF) – creamy and thick black lentils
Saag paneer (V, GF) – pieces of paneer cooked with spinach greens and garlic
Chickpea curry (V, GF) – cooked in a rich onion and tomato sauce (VE available)
Bangin’ baigan (V, GF) – aubergine curry made with tomatoes, onions, garlic and cumin (VE available)
Five spice aloo (V, GF) -five whole seed spices create the flavours for this potato dish (VE available)
Veggie curry (V, GF) – mixed veggies in a creamy masala sauce
Paneer makhani (V) – pieces of paneer in an earthy, creamy and flavoursome tomato based sauce

Tamatanga is located on The Headrow next to Miller and Carter. There is a multi storey car park at The Light but it is expensive.
