Outdoor Karting Experience

Join Spice for a friendly endurance race at this amazing outdoor karting track in Fradley, near Lichfield. We will be driving their adult friendly TBKart r25 270cc karts which can reach top speeds of 50mph, as we race on their premium circuit. This track which uses former airfield tarmac for the ultimate high-grip, high-speed karting experience.
We will be provided with racing suits, gloves and helmets to make sure we're safe (and obviously look the part too!)
Following a full safety briefing and kit-up, we will head out onto the circuit for a 10-minute qualifying session in which they’ll have the opportunity to get to grips with the circuit and karts whilst also competing for pole position for the race start.
Once qualifying positions are determined, we will line up and get ready for a full lights-to-flag timed 20 minute race! The Spicer completing the most laps when the chequered flag falls will be declared the winner.
It's then over to the podium where the top three Spicers will receive medal and the overall winner receiving a bottle of non-alcoholic fizz.

Extras
- Compulsory £4 Balaclava (or bring your own)

If you already have your own helmet, suit, gloves etc then you're welcome to bring your own.
Please also remember to bring a balaclava if you have one, or be prepared to buy one for £4 on the day. It is compulsory to wear a balaclava underneath your helmet.
Location & Itinerary
If the racing has worked up an appetite, we can stay for food afterwards at the Red Flag Cafe.
Here we can purchase foods such as breakfast, burgers, pizzas and jacket potatoes.
There aren't any weight limits but drivers do need to be over 1.5m in height (4ft 11), and when in the Karts, you need to be able to have a slight bend in the leg.
Waivers will also have to be completed in advance and we will email this out to those booked on closer to the time.
Midland Karting is conveniently located between the A38 and A515, just 5-minutes North-West of Lichfield. They are situated on the Fradley Park business area which is just a short drive from the Curborough Sprint Circuit.
Simply follow the brown signs for Curborough Sprint Course and that will take you to Wood End Lane.
Midland Karting have their own free car park.
